09:23 am - PERFECT Righteously kidnapped from ilaniel:
In 2011, unlimitedblack resolves to... Spend less time on samurai. Go asskicking three times a week. Overcome my secret fear of movies. Learn to play the j-pop. Find a new rpg. Buy new videogames.
I find the assertion to "spend less time on samurai" to actually be quite inspiring. ^_^ But I don't have a secret fear of movies!

10:04 am - FLASHBACK 2005 I can see you now, green-eyed destiny, struggling over some challenge, some boundary And you know now that I am not far behind.
Do you see that I hunt you? That I stalk you as a predator stalks prey?
Your time away from me grows short. Make peace with yourself.
For the time of your capture is near And do not think that it shall end there For I am unlimited And want for nothing but you. Current Mood: naughty

07:33 pm - Blizzard Creative Writing Contest Entry Update AGAIN 6850 words, and the draft is complete! I send it now to beta readers, and pray now for fast responses!
Three whole weeks to re-draft the thing should be enough to craft gold, right?
Right? Current Mood: chipper

02:41 pm - Blizzard Creative Writing Contest Entry Update 4800 words? I've probably written more than the wordcount by this point, but I've thrown a lot out on the advice of people whom I've discussed the concept with.
If I can keep my momentum going, I might have a workable draft here shortly...

12:21 pm - Re: RealID on new Blizzard Forums "... and then they came for the forum posters, and I didn't speak up, because I didn't post on the forums..."
Perhaps a little melodramatic, but it's how I feel, to a certain degree.

12:18 pm - FOR THE LOLZ ((The True Encounter)) "Wolf!" cried my cunning heart At every sheep it spied, And roused the countryside.
"Wolf! Wolf!"—and up would start Good neighbours, bringing spade And pitchfork to my aid.
At length my cry was known: Therein lay my release. I met the wolf alone And was devoured in peace. -- Edna St. Vincent Millay
Jon: dont fully get it....remember not very abstract in thinking may have to read it a few times
me: "My cunning heart" indicates that she's not being entirely honest. The first two stanzas indicate that she's pulling a "girl who cried wolf" scenario. The third stanza displays how the plot worked -- now that the neighbours won't come at her cries, she can be devoured by the wolf.
Jon: so she wanted to be eaten by a wolf? wtf
me: For multiple innuendo meanings of "eaten"? Sure.
Jon: ...oh ah /facepalm I get it derp fucking poetry
